Apni Party takes out candlelight march in memory of martyrs

Jammu, Sep 15: Apni Party on Friday took out a candlelight march here at Satwari Chowk in memory of martyred two Indian Army officers, and one JKP DySP in a gunfight in Kokernag in Anantnag. The candlelight march was led by Apni Party Women Wing, Provincial President, Jammu, Pavneet Kour and other leaders.
During the march, the Apni Party shouted slogans against Pakistan and terrorism for attempting to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir. Pavneet Kour along with other leaders paid homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty.  The march ended peacefully amid emotional scenes while remembering the brave hearts.
In her speech, Pavneet Kour paid rich tributes to the martyrs and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and the courage to the respective bereaved families to bear these irreparable losses. Prominent among those who participated in the candlelight march include Apni Trade Union Provincial President Jammu, Tirath Singh, Ritu Andita, Sheetal Dalbir, Yash, Devinder Gill, Sandeep, Ritu, Shakti Dutta, Gurcharan Singh, Bindu, Manu, Ritu Kumari, Varsha, Banso Devi, Kamlesh Devi, Anu Devi and others.
