Samba, April 3: Apni Party has demanded holding of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
A meeting of the Apni Party was held at a village in Dadyial in Ramgarh in Samba District in which various developmental issues concerning the local population were discussed.
During the meeting which was organized by District President Legal Cell, Samba, Adv Sahil Bharti demanded that the public issues can be addressed by holding assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
In his address, Adv Sahil Bharti said that the border villages were facing under development, poor irrigation water supply at tail- end villages, irregular drinking water supply and unscheduled power cuts.
Bharti said that the disruption of electricity supply in villages has affected watering of the fields because water pumps cannot work without electricity.
He demanded that the authorities should take note of the situation and address these issues.
