Apni Party condoles demise of provincial president’s father

Srinagar, Sep 26: Apni Party leaders have expressed their grief and sorrow over the passing of the father of the party’s senior leader and provincial president, Jammu, Manjit Singh. The deceased, Balwant Singh, who had been battling a prolonged illness, peacefully departed from this world today at his residence in Vijaypur, within Jammu’s Samba district, a party statement issued here said.
In a condolence message, the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, extended his heartfelt condolences to Manjit Singh and the other members of the bereaved family. He said, “On the passing of Manjit Singh’s beloved father, Mr Balwant Singh, my thoughts and prayers are with Manjit Ji and his family. May they find the strength to endure this irreplaceable loss, and may the departed soul find eternal peace.” “In this hour of grief and sorrow, the Apni Party stands in solidarity with the grief-stricken family,” he added.
Meanwhile, in view of the passing of Manjit Singh’s father, the party’s Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, presided over a condolence meeting at the party headquarters in Srinagar. During this gathering, party leaders shared their sorrow and extended condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed for peace to the departed soul. Also, In the Jammu Party office, a condolence meeting was held to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
Besides Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and Ghulam Hassan Mir, prominent leaders who either participated in these condolence meetings or individually sent out condolence messages included Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Usman Majid, Dilawar Mir, Javaid Ahmad Mir, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Vijay Bakaya, Javid Hassan Baig, Syed Asgar Ali, Choudhary Zulfikar Ali, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Arun Kumar Chibber, Mohinder Parihar,  Abdul Majid Padder, Junaid Azim Matto, Faqir Nath, Syed Muzaffar Rizvi, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Muntazir Mohiuddin, Farooq Andrabi, Haji Parvez, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Dilshada Shaheen, Pavneet Kaur, Sheetal Sharma, Advocate Nirmal Kotwal, Dr. Rohit Gupta, Saleem Choudhary, Kuldeep Sudan, Mangat Ram, Manmeet Singh, Vipul Bali, and others.
 
 
 
 
Farooq, Omar expresses condolence
National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed grief over the demise of Khalid Hussain, son of Karim Hussain, Block Secretary Mankote, in a tragic road accident at Poonch.
In their messages, Dr Farooq and Omar expressed condolences and solidarity to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
The party’s General Secretary Ali Mohammed Sagar, Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra Additional General Secretaries, Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu Province,Nasir Aslam Wani Provincial President Kashmir and Javed Ahmed Rana Zone President Pir Panjal also expressed grief and prayed for peace to the departed soul. 
Senior leaders of the National Conference also conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family
