Apni Party claims support of Kashmiri Pandit Migrants

Jammu, May 07: Apni Party on Tuesday said it received support from the migrant Kashmir Pandits following its door-to-door campaign at Jagti camp in the Nagrota area of Jammu district.
The campaign, according to a party statement issued here, was launched in favour of the party candidates contesting on three Parliamentary seats of Kashmir Valley – Rajouri-Anantnag, Srinagar and Baramulla.
The campaign was led by Provincial President, Women’s Wing, Jammu, Pavneet Kour whereas the program was organized by District President of the Women Wing, Jammu, Ritu Pandita.
During the door-to-door campaign, Kour was accompanied other party leaders including Provincial President Transport Wing, Jammu, Trith Singh, Provincial President Minority Wing, Balbir Singh, Vice President Transport, Devindar Singh Gill, General Secretary, Yash Choudhary, District President Minority Wing Inderpal Singh, and others.
The party leaders met the migrant Kashmiri Pandits in the Jagti camp and educated them about the Apni Party’s policy and agenda.
Meanwhile, the meetings with the migrant Kashmiri Pandits were also held in which the KPs extended their support to the party candidates fielded in three Parliamentary seats in Kashmir, the statement said.
Extending their support to the party candidates in three parliamentary seats, the KPs were satisfied with the policy of equitable development, and unity among the people that would help to promote an atmosphere of peace, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir, the Apni Party said, adding, “They agreed to be part of progress, and an equality-based movement that has been started by the party under the leadership of Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari.”
In her speech, the Provincial President of the Women Wing, Jammu, Pavneet Kour said, “The migrants are ready to support the new narrative for Jammu and Kashmir led by Altaf Bukhari sahab, and the Party. The party will work for the upliftment of the living standard of the Kashmiri Pandits and will work for their rehabilitation in Kashmir in a peaceful and smooth manner.”
