Ganderbal, Jan 23: Acting tough against the illegal encroachment of the state land, revenue department under the supervision of Tehsildar Gund on Monday carried out an anti encroachment drive at Sub Division Kangan of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district
An official told Rising Kashmir the anti encroachment drive in Gagangeer area was carried by Tehsildar Javid Iqbal, Pathwari Halka Gund and Sonamarg, Lumberdar Gagangeer and other revenue Officials, during which 30 kanal of State land was retrieved and demarcated immediately by the revenue department.
It is pertinent to mention here that Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal has passed on the directions to concerned officials to accelerate the anti encroachment drives accros the district in order to free every inch of encroached land.
