Budgam/Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir Anjuman Shari Shian organised grand celebrations across the valley to mark the birth anniversary of Ameer al-Momineen Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), known as Mouloud-e-Kaaba. Major events were held at ChakBagh Hazratbal Srinagar, the Central Imambara Budgam, and the auditorium of Bab-ul-Ilm Higher Secondary School Budgam. These gatherings saw enthusiastic participation from students, educators, administrators, and members of the public.
At the Central Imambara Budgam, prominent scholars highlighted the life and contributions of Imam Ali (AS). In a special message, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Mousavi Al-Safavi, president of Anjuman Shari’ahShi’yan, extended his greetings to the Islamic world on this blessed occasion. He prayed for global peace, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, and the strengthening of brotherhood.
Addressing a gathering at ChakBagh Hazratbal, Agha Mujtaba Abbas Al-Mousavi Al-Safavi emphasized the demands of love and devotion toward Molua Ali (AS). He elaborated on the Imam’s pivotal role in promoting Islam alongside the Holy Prophet (PBUH). “Moula Ali’s contributions to the mission of Islam are milestones in Islamic history and a source of inspiration for all believers,” he remarked.
The celebrations served as an opportunity for believers to reflect on the teachings of Imam Ali (AS) and foster unity within the community.
