Anantnag admin felicitated for successful Amarnath Yatra

Anantnag, Sep 05: District administration Anantnag was felicitated for its commendable work in successfully managing the Amaranth Yatraa 2023, particularly for creating an atmosphere for local participation in huge numbers which has revived the traditional fervour to this yatra.
DC Anantnag Syed F D Hamid has credited the smooth yatra to the team of administration and the common people of the district, ponywallas, small shopkeepers, guesthouse owners and all stakeholders who have given their best to make this yatra happen smoothly and peacefully.
This is a blessing for the whole area of Anantnag as this has brought a lot of developments in all respects like infrastructure, social economical and cultural exchanges the best of which is the inter-community exchange at multiple levels and stages, the DC said.
