Jammu, Apr 05: Following the clearance from intelligence agencies, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address a mega election rally at ManhasSabha in Janipur, Jammu on the April 9.
This announcement comes after the approval for Prime Minister NarendraModi’s rally at Modi Stadium in Udhampur on April 12.
The BharatiyaJanata Party in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has intensified its preparations for these rallies. Committees have been formed, and responsibilities have been assigned to party leaders at various levels, from wards to districts, with the aim of ensuring maximum attendance and making the events historic.
In a series of meetings held over the past two days, the J&K BJP has been strategising to mobilise support for the rallies of PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to make his first visit to J&K since assuming office, addressing an election rally in Kathua on the April 10.
The BJP’s campaign plan includes proposals for rallies by other prominent party figures such as HemaMalini, KangnaRanowat, and SmritiIrani. These plans aim to cover key areas of the UT, ensuring comprehensive outreach to voters across different demographics.
The BJP’s detailed campaigning strategy has been submitted to the party’s high command, outlining plans for rallies by top party leaders in various regions of J&K. Additionally, specific arrangements have been made to ensure that the campaigning efforts of star campaigners cover constituencies such as Jammu-Reasi and Udhampur-Kathua-Doda.
