Amarnath Yatra: DHSK team conducts inspection of health facilities along Baltal axis

Ganderbal, June 13: A team from the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir, led by Director Dr. Mushtaq A Rather, undertook a thorough inspection of health facilities along the Baltal axis in preparation for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
Yatra unit examined 14 health institutes situated from Nilgrath Sonmarg to the Holy Cave. The inspection aimed to assess the current status of infrastructure, the supply chain of drugs, logistics, and the availability of necessary equipment.
Over the course of 16 arduous hours, the team traversed the route on ponies, ensuring a detailed review of each health facility en route to the Holy Cave.
The team commended the staff for their diligent efforts and emphasized the importance of timely completion of ongoing works. They stressed the necessity of adhering to the guidelines set forth by higher authorities to ensure a seamless and safe pilgrimage experience.
