Kargil, Mar 31:Kargil, March 31: The Ladakh Hajj Committee of the Union Territory announced that all 475 applicants for Hajj 2023 have been selected, marking a significant achievement for the newly formed committee.
An official from the committee congratulated the selected applicants and emphasized the committee’s commitment to providing all necessary facilities and training for the Hajj pilgrims. The Government of India has pledged its support to ensure the success of the pilgrimage.
Chairman of the Ladakh Hajj Committee, Mohammad Ali Majaz, expressed his gratitude towards the Ministry of Minority Affairs and the Haj Committee of India for accommodating all of the Hajj 2023 pilgrim applications from Ladakh. He also noted that since becoming a Union Territory, Ladakh has received its due share in all sectors, including the Hajj sector, which will continue to be a focus for future improvements.
