Aishmuqam incident: Another injured person dies, death toll reaches 4

Aishmuqam, Dec 31: Another man died of his injuries a few days after a man went wild in Anantnag, taking the death toll to four.
On Saturday morning, Mohd Sultan Saqa (40), son of Gh Mohammad Saqa, a resident of Aishmuqam, died at the Srinagar hospital nine days after being injured.
On December 23, the deceased (Saqa) was first taken to GMC Anantnag where from he was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Pertinently, the incident took place on December 23, when a person broke loose and started hitting everyone who came to his way. The accused also murdered his mother and wounded his father.
There has been no official word about the health condition of the accused, whether he has a mental illness or was under the influence of drugs.
An official said, the health tests of the accused have been sent and the reports are awaited.
