Jammu, Jan 12: Ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit on Friday in Dhangri village of Rajouri district where seven civilians were killed by the terrorists, the security forces have identified around 20 Over Ground Workers (OGWs) who are being detained as per the last reports accessed by Rising Kashmir.
“During investigation in the terror attack, we have developed some very important leads and have now identified around twenty (20) Over Ground Workers (OGWs) for providing logistics and other topography related information to the terrorists who killed innocent civilians in Rajouri’s Dhangri village,” SSP Rajouri, Mohd Aslam, informed Rising Kashmir adding, “The detentions are now going on and will continue till all the OGWS are detained”.
The detentions continued till filing of this report, sources informed adding security forces are conducting intense operations to nab these OGWs ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit tomorrow.
The SSP said the operation to nab all these OGWS was launched in the evening after leads obtained during thorough investigation in the terror attack.
It has also been reported by Rising Kashmir that Ministry of Home Affairs has been closely monitoring the ongoing probe in the Dhangri terror attack and is seeking a timely report of the investigation in the case.
