Kargil, Mar 11: The Agriculture Department of Kargil, organized the Kargil Organic Fair 2023 in the district. During the event, Chief Executive Councillor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan, along with other executive councilors, visited the stalls of Ladakh Green House and appreciated the department’s efforts.
CEC Khan emphasized the importance of going organic to increase the economy of farmers in Ladakh, stating that Ladakh Green House has helped reduce the crisis of vegetables during winters. He also announced that LAHDC Kargil has initiated the Rarzi, Barzi Scheme to boost the cattle industry and achieve their mission.
The Kargil Organic Fair 2023 was a successful event, highlighting the efforts of the Agriculture Department of Kargil in promoting organic farming and supporting local farmers.
