Srinagar, J&K: Delivering a poignant sermon during the Friday congregation at Imambara Budgam, Aga Syed Hassan Mousvi Safvi, the esteemed president of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharia Shian, addressed pressing societal issues, urging the Muslim community to tackle the rising menace of drug abuse and to simplify marriage practices to prevent delays.
Aga Syed Hassan Mousvi Safvi expressed profound concern over the increasing prevalence of drug addiction among the youth. He stressed the responsibility of parents, scholars, and society at large to actively engage with their children, understand their challenges, and provide them with moral and emotional guidance.
“The neglect of our youth,” he remarked, “has created a void, allowing destructive influences to take root. Islam emphasizes the role of the family as a shield against immorality and deviation.”
