Admissions open for four-year undergraduate programs in J&K: Dir College

Srinagar, Sept 28: The Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has announced the opening of admissions to Four-Year Undergraduate Programs (FYUGP) for the academic session 2025–26.

The admissions will be open to 10+2 biannual pass-out students across all degree colleges in the Union Territory from September 29, 2025. An online registration interface has been activated on the Samarth Portal ([https://jkadmissions.samarth.ac.in](https://jkadmissions.samarth.ac.in)) to facilitate the process.

Officials said eligible candidates should visit the Admission Counselling Centers of their preferred colleges to complete registration and apply for the program of their choice. Regular candidates who missed earlier admission rounds will also be able to apply during this period.

Dr. Sheikh Ajaz Bashir, Director Colleges J&K, said the detailed notification is available on the Samarth Portal and urged students to make timely use of the opportunity.
