The absence of a Naib Tehsildar in Goom Ahmedpora village of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district has caused problems for the common people.
As per Kashmir News Service KNS Hundreds of documents are pending, and students and locals are suffering.
Locals told KNS that while government is trying to move all services online, but when this isn’t implemented on the ground, people face the consequences.
The official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the Naib Tehsildar in Goom Ahmedpora was retired a month ago, but no replacement has been appointed since then. People in the area said that they have been suffering for a month. Recently, a Naib Tehsildar was posted to the area, but he was transferred within a day. They added.
The people, especially students and common people, are facing problems every day.
Meanwhile When KNS contacted Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa IAS, he said that he would look into the matter and that the problem would be solved very soon. (KNS)
