Abrar Rashid addresses rally at G’bl

Ganderbal, Sept 20 : Engineer Rashid’s son, Abrar Rashid on Friday during an election campaign in Gandebal said that for 70 years, misrule has plagued Kashmir. He said, “Vote for Engineer Rashid so you can see our roadmap for the release of prisoners.”
While speaking to reporters Abrar said, “I never said I had to release my father. What I said was that along with my father, we need to raise our voice for all those imprisoned because he, having been in jail himself, understands the pain and suffering of a prisoner.”
He said, “In democracy, everyone has the right, and as a Kashmiri, I have the right to run an election campaign as a volunteer. I’m not contesting any election.” adding, “If there’s anything I can do for the people, I am ready.”
Abrar said that they will fight for every innocent youth, whether they are from Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, or Srinagar.
During the campaign Sheikh Ashiq said, “If people give us mandate, we will show how to resolve each and every issue.”
