Jammu, Nov 20: Apni Party General Secretary Youth Wing and Spokesperson, Abhay Bakaya called on the newly-posted Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Ansuya Jamwal.
As per the press release, Bakaya discussed the prevailing situation because of drug addiction and other youth-related issues that need to be addressed by the authorities along with the police department.
He highlighted the concern of drug addiction and its effect on society that has given rise to multiple criminal activities. “The youth should be guided towards the right direction by providing them ample opportunities and guidance by involving members of civil society and organizing seminars in schools and colleges,” he said.
Abhay said that the administration has an important role in dealing with the growing menace of drug addiction, smuggling and increasing crime in Jammu.
On hearing him patiently, the ADC Jammu Ansuya Jamwal assured that she would take appropriate steps referring to the issues discussed above.
