Jammu, Oct 10: A meeting of Senior AAP leaders was Monday held at its Chinore, Bantalab office in Jammu North Assembly Constituency, under the Chairmanship of Deep Singh, founder & National Council Member and discussed the preparedness of AAP in view of ensuing general elections in J&K, a statement from the party said.
According to the statement, various speakers expressed great resentment and disappointment over the alleged “use of ED, CBI, & Income Tax against the AAP leaders, on one pretext or the other, particularly at a time, when general elections in Gujaratand Himachal Pradesh are round the corner.
Thespeakers urged upon the central government to immediately make public the outcome of such raids, where nothing wrong has been found by ED & CBI and thus whole exercise is to harass and torture the AAP leaders/MLAs & Ministers to desist them from electioneering in Gujrat& Himachal.
They also appealed the general masses to rise above the politics of religion and region in the larger interest of integration of the country, the statement said.
