Jammu, March 31:  The Jammu unit of Aam Aadmi Party Friday organized a peaceful protest at Gandhi Nagar against arrest of former Deputy CM, Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
According to the party statement, the AAP leaders including females and other political activists stood in a long queue at Main Road Gandhi Nagar with black ribbons on their shoulders to protest the arrest of AAP senior leaders in New Delhi.
The protesters were holding placards and banners in their hands having slogans written against the arrests.
While addressing the protesters, senior AAP leaders Amit Langer and S Gurmeet Singh Baaghi condemned the Modi regime for arresting AAP leaders Sisodia and Jain in false cases and said the leaders were arrested to defame the pro- people mission of Kejriwal.
AAP leader Agya Kour also  criticized Modi Govt for filing ED sponsored manipulated FIRs against the former AAP ministers while taking the benefit of SC ruling where ED can arrest any defaulter without any bail for one year.
Another AAP activist Sushma Malhotra also condemned Modi Govt for false cases based arrest of former AAP ministers merely as a result of political enmity to stop the healthcare of poor and education of Dalits.  “BJP never wants education of poor as it is merely keen to exploit the poverty for a paid vote bank,” Malhotra further alleged.
