Jammu, Jan 04: A group of leaders of Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday visited Dhangri village of Rajouri to meet the families of terror attack victims to express solidarity with them.
According to a party statement, the leaders including State Co-ordination Committee Chairman and Former minister, Harsh Dev Singh, TS Tony, Yashpal Kundal, Rajesh Padgotra and Raj Kapoor visited the houses of those who were killed in a terror attack in Dhangri village two days ago and expressed condolences with the families and told the families that Aam Aadmi Party is standing shoulder to shoulder with victim families.
The AAP leaders said that the tragic terror attack is an attack on humanity and a cowardice act of terrorists which cannot be described in words.
They said that Ministry of Home Affairs should immediately intervene in the security situation of Jammu and Kashmir as the Jammu and Kashmir LG administration is unable to deal with the situation and things are getting worse.
“On one hand JK Administration is claiming normalcy and eradication of terrorism but things are different on ground and this attack on minorities in Dhangri exposes fake claims of LG Administration.” the visiting leaders said.
They said that the Ministry of Home Affairs should immediately intervene in the situation and take solid measures for a fool proof security scenario.
Aam Aadmi Party leaders further said that areas like Rajouri and Poonch districts have different topographic conditions and demographic profile which should be taken into consideration to ensure best possible security arrangements in the region.
