Srinagar, Sep 10: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, a series of activities and orientation workshops under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan were conducted Wednesday across the district.
As per a statement issued here, as the programmes were aimed at sensitising officials, youth leaders, and tribal volunteers while also engaging the community at the grassroots level. Block level orientation workshops were organized in Bandipora, Bankoot, Arin, Gurez, Tulail, and Bagtore blocks. These were supervised by Block Development Officers, who are also designated Block Nodal Officers. Officials from ICDS, Forest, Education, Health, Social Welfare, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Handicrafts, PDD, PHE, and ITI departments actively participated. Activities and community engagement were conducted at all blocks. These included candle lighting events, “Give and Take” activities, as well as knot and rope exercises that encourage teamwork, unity, and collective responsibility among participants.
These activities created a strong sense of involvement among villagers and officials alike, strengthening the vision of inclusive development under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
