The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has strongly supported the Resident Doctors Association (RDA) Rajouri after a disturbing incident reported on May 17, 2026, at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri.

According to doctors, unauthorized individuals allegedly entered the sensitive gynecology area, violated patient privacy, and harassed healthcare staff.

The incident has triggered outrage among resident doctors, who announced that they will begin a strike from Monday if strict action is not taken by the administration.

FAIMA demanded immediate registration of an FIR, deployment of trained security personnel in hospitals, strict restriction on unauthorized visitors, and a complete ban on unauthorized videography inside sensitive patient care areas.

Dr. Mohammad Momin Khan of FAIMA strongly backed the protesting doctors and stated that the dignity, safety, and security of both patients and healthcare workers must be protected at all costs.

He warned that continued negligence regarding hospital security could severely affect the healthcare environment.

Dr Mehdi from FAIMA and Dr Suneem Khan also extended the support.

The protesting doctors have demanded swift accountability and stronger security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
