SRINAGAR, May 22: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday greeted the people at the annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Amir-e-Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA).
In their message, the leaders paid rich tributes to Hazrat Shah-e-Hamadan (RA), describing him as a great spiritual saint, reformer and visionary who played a vital role in spreading Islam, promoting peace and transforming Kashmir’s socio-economic landscape through arts and crafts.
They said the teachings of Hazrat Amir-e-Kabir (RA), rooted in compassion, harmony and moral values, continue to inspire generations in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, NC leaders, legislators and party functionaries also paid tributes to the revered saint and remembered his legacy of spirituality and service to humanity.
