Har Ghar Tiranga campaign held in various districts in J&K

Srinagar, Aug 11: Since the launch of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative by the Jammu and Kashmir Government on August 2, culminating on August 15, various districts across the Union Territory have seen enthusiastic participation from schools, colleges, universities, local citizens, police, and district administrations. The campaign aims to instil national pride through rallies and activities in celebration of the Tiranga.The district administration organised a prominent Tiranga rally that drew over 1,200 participants, including school children, local residents, CRPF personnel, and government employees. A highlight of the event was a 2.5 km-long flag carried by children, symbolising patriotism. The rally was followed by a Tiranga concert held at the Degree College grounds, further emphasising the spirit of unity.Deputy Commissioner Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat (IAS) inaugurated a grand Tiranga Bike Rally from the DC Office. Bikers, youth volunteers, government officials, and civil society members enthusiastically participated, proudly displaying the National Flag. The riders, adorned with the Tricolour, navigated key routes in Budgam town amidst slogans like “Mere Jaan Tiranga Hai,” instiling a patriotic atmosphere. In the morning, students across the district participated in a Mega Rally, singing the same slogan and raising awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which was widely appreciated by the community.District Commissioner Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan (IAS) launched a Mega Bike Rally, with participants displaying the National Flag and embodying unity and patriotism in anticipation of Independence Day.A Tiranga bike rally was organised by the district administration, promoting the same spirit of patriotism.In Ramban, a historic 1,508-meter-long Tiranga rally, led by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh, drew thousands of participants. Students from Primary School Krallan Doda Dessa organised their own spirited rally, chanting “Har Ghar Tiranga.” Similar rallies and activities took place across various districts, involving students, government officials, police personnel, and local communities, especially in border areas where participation was notably high.All government and private schools across Jammu and Kashmir have organised a variety of activities on their premises to promote the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, fostering a sense of patriotism among students and staff.
