75 Bn CRPF organised a free medical camp in Indra Nagar, Srinagar today.
Functioning of the camp was supervised by Sh K K Pandey, Comdt , who interacted with local populace on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering, Sh. Pandey emphasised on the motive of the camp and said that CRPF is committed to fulfill its social obligations with pride and smile along with its prime role of maintaining internal security of the country. The camp, which is being organised under the guidance of the Srinagar sector, aims at fulfilling the medical requirements of the needy people who either due to economic hardships or due to other reasons are unable to avail formal hospital facilities. He further added that such initiatives foster a sense of brotherhood and belongingness with the awam of Kashmir. He assured that CRPF medical assistance will always be at the service of women,elderly, children and the general public.
Dr. Rose Maria Jose, MO 75 and Dr Masood GDMO, who were instrumental in smooth execution of the camp, rendered free medical advice and check up to the needy. patients were examined in the camp and free medicines were made available to the beneficiaries.
The local population appreciated the efforts of 75 Battalion, who reached out in numbers to take the benefit of such initiative. They further expressed the hope that such camps will continue to be organised in future as well.
It has been the constant endeavour of 75 Battalion to reach out to every section of society through its community outreach programs in addition to its commitment to serve the nation with valour and grit.
Sh A K Singh, 2IC, 75 Bn, Sh.Chanchal Parwana DC 29 Bn, Sh.Ajay Patial DC 35 Bn, Dr. K Yamini Chellni, SMO 117 bn were also present during the medical camp.
