7 passengers injured in Kangan road accident

Ganderbal, Dec 08: Atleast seven persons were injured after two passenger vehicles collided with each other on Srinagar Leh highway near Satruna Margund area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Police said that a passenger Sumo bearing registration number JK01K/6735 on way from Kangan to Ganiwan collided with a Innova vehicle bearing registration number DL1CZ/ 7047 near Satruna Margund area, resulting in injuries to seven passengers.
Soon after receiving the information, police evacuated all the injured passengers and rushed them to SDH Kangan for treatment where from doctors referred them to SKIMS Soura for advance treatment.
They have been identified as Zahoor Ah Mir S/0 Shabir Ah Mir R/o Bonibagh, Dilshada Begum W/o Badsha Khan R/o Mamer, Rehmat Niyazi S/o Gh Abad R/o Khayam Chock Srinagar, Shagufta Qadir D/o Gh Qadir Cherwan, Sumo driver Shabir Ahmad S/o Gh Rasool R/o Hariganiwan, Hadiya Altaf D/o Mohd Altaf R/0 Hariganiwan, Shafiya begum W/0 Gh nabi R/0 Hariganiwan.
