4 passengers died, many injured in bus accident on NH near Awantipora

4 passengers were killed and many others injured in a road accident on national highway in Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday morning.

Officials informed Rising Kashmir that a passenger bus from Jammu turned turtle on National Highway 44 near Awantipora.
They said many passengers were injured in the accident which were shifted to SDH Pampore.

Doctors at SDH declared 4 injured passengers dead.

” Out of 16 other injured passengers which were brought at SDH Pampore, 11 have been shifted to different hospitals in Srinagar,” doctors at SDH said, adding 5 are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
