A 3.0 magnitude earthquake hits Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Saturday but there was no report of any damage, officials said.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 2.03 pm.Thw depth of the earthquake was 5 kms below the surface at a latitude of 33.31 degrees north and a longitude of 75.19 degrees east.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.0, Occurred on 17-06-2023, 14:03:54 IST, Lat: 33.31 & Long: 75.19, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir, India”, NCS tweeted.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the seventh earthquake that was reported from Chenab valley in last 5 days.
