Bandipora, Nov 10: The 2nd District Jujitsu Championship held at the Emergent School of Modern Education in Quilmuqam village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district concluded on Friday.
Organized by the Jujitsu Association of Bandipora, the sporting extravaganza brought together nearly 300 students from various schools across the district.
The conclusion ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished guests and dignitaries. DySP DAR Bandipora, Ahmad Shafi, along with Major Jaspreet from 26 Assam Rifles and DO Police Post Paribal, Rayees Ahmad, added an aura of honor to the occasion.
Ishfaq Ahmad, the Chairman of the Emergent School of Modern Education Quilmuqam, Sarpanch Quil Muqam Haji Mohammad Maqbool, Mohammed Shafi Sheikh, and the General Secretary of the Jujitsu Association of Bandipora Muzaffar Ahmad graced the ceremony with their presence.
The championship not only provided a platform for young Jujitsu enthusiasts to showcase their skills but also exemplified the collaborative effort of the locals in promoting sports.
