Ganderbal, Nov 27: The 24th District Sqay Championship reached its thrilling conclusion on Monday at Newdreamland Educational Institute in Ganderbal. A vibrant display of skill and sportsmanship marked the event’s last day, with approximately 150 students from various affiliated clubs and schools actively participating.
Miss Tasleem Majeed, BDC Chairperson, graced the occasion as the chief guest, alongside distinguished guests Shah Fayaz, Chairman JK Employees Coordination Committee, MOHI UDIN Sahab, and Nissar Ahmad Khan, District President of Sqay Association Ganderbal.
Organized by the District Sqay Association Ganderbal under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association, the championship attracted a total of 234 students and different groups. The meritorious players emerging from this competition will proudly represent District Ganderbal at the upcoming UT level Championship scheduled to be held in Srinagar in the third week of December this year.
The closing ceremony was a moment of honor and celebration as exceptional talents were felicitated for their outstanding skills and sportsmanship. The event showcased not just the physical prowess of the participants but also the spirit of unity and sportsmanship that defines Sqay in the region.
