A 22-year-old youth was allegedly electrocuted to death at his residence in the Breman Rafiabad area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
A police official said that Sahil Ahmad Khan, son of Nawab Khan, allegedly received a fatal electric shock on Friday leading to his death.
A health care official at GMC Baramulla said that on July 7, 2023, a 22-year-old male from Bremen Rohama was brought to the Emergency Room (ER) at 6:45 a.m.
The official said that the youth was pronounced dead on arrival.
“The alleged cause of death was electrocution, which subsequently led to cardiovascular arrest,” he said.
Police officials said that authorities have completed all necessary legal formalities pertaining to the incident.
Medical Superintendent AHGMC Baramulla said that an ambulance from SDH Rohama has been dispatched to transport the deceased’s body to his native village, facilitating the grieving process for his family.
