Bandipora, March 16: Block Medical Officer Bandipora on Thursday suspended two medical officers over their absence from duties.
Talking to Rising Kashmir BMO Bandipora Dr Masarat Iqbal said that the duo were suspended after they were found absent from their legitimate duties during an inspection of the health centers of the health block Bandipora.
Masarat said that fifteen more employees including doctors and paramedical staff due to their late report on their duties have been put on notice and their salary of two and half days have been deducted.
They have been directed to explain their position and why action under rules shall not be initiated against them, BMO Bandipora said adding that they have asked to submit the reply within a day positively.
