16 teams register on first day of district Srinagar volleyball championship

Srinagar, Jan 11:On the first day of district Srinagar volleyball championship for boys and girls, 16 teams in the men’s section registered their entry and twelve matches were played.
In the 1st match Elite volleyball club beat Mahid volleyball club 2-0. In the 2nd match Srinagar spartan beat Nishat volleyball club 2-0
In the 3rd match, Ace volleyball club beat Buchpora volleyball club 2-0. In the 4th match, Dara hawks beat Downtown volleyball club 2-0. In the 5th match, Theed Spartans beat Alamgiri volleyball club 2-0.
In 6th match, Foreshore volleyball club beat flying defenders 2-0. In 7th match, Maloora spikers beat The Challengers 2-0. In 8th match, Panzinara volleyball club beat Block or Bleed 2-0. In 9th match, Srinagar Spartans beat Dara Hawks 2-0. In 10th match, Ace volleyball club beat Panzinara volleyball club 2-0. In 11th match, Foreshore volleyball club beat Theed Spartans 2-0. In 12th match, Elite volleyball club beat Maloora volleyball club 2-0. Anas Younus, Mohsin Wani, Irfan Zahid were star performers for their teams.
Tomorrow Srinagar Spartans will play against ace volleyball club and Elite volleyball club will play against foreshore volleyball club.
In the women ‘s section, Elite juniors And W.C M.A. Road reached to the finals..
The chief guest of the event was publicity secretary of the association Mr. Momin Mir along with Mr. Amir Bhat, Mr. Zahid Manzoor, Mr. Raees Ahmed, Mr. Zahid Manzoor, Mr. Tariq Dar
Tomorrow two semifinals and finals will be played in the men section and in women section finals will be played.
