Ganderbal, Dec 23: The 118 battalion of CRPF held a cultural exhibition “Jashn-e-chili kalan” in Gund area of Jammu and Kashmir Ganderbal District which promoted the welcome of Chilaikalan and the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir.
Commander 118 BN CRPF SS Yadav Joined as Chief Guest while SDPO Kangan Sayed Yasir Qadri, DDC NooraniJara, BDC chairman and other officials attended the mega event.Many people of the ganderbal district also attended the ceremony.
The students of this AGS MargundKangan and other schools were delighted with their skilful and artistic performances.
“The first event of the series held Debate Music and Painting competitions in which dozens of students participated with great enthusiasm.
The ceremony ended with the distribution of prize and certificate after which lunch was given in a very pleasant environment.
Talking to the media CO 118 BN SS Yadav said that the purpose of holding the program is to attract children to good works so that they can highlight the name of Kashmir valley with their skills.
He said CRPF has always been trying to get the kids a better platform.
He added that such programs will be organised in future.
