10 civilians injured in grenade blast at Sunday Market in Srinagar

At least ten civilians were injured in grenade blast at Sunday market near Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar district.

Hospital authorities of SMHS confirmed ten injured were brought there and all are stable.

The injured have been identified as Misba, 17, daughter of Mohammad Amin Tantry of Nowgam, Azaan Kaloo, 17, son of Javaid Ahmad Kaloo of Noorbagh, Habibullah Rather, 50, son of Abdul Jabbar of Kaloosa Bandipora, Altaf Ahmad, 21, son of Abdul Rashid of Amshipora Shopian, Faizal Ahmad, 16, son of Fayaz Ahmad Beig of Khaniyar, Umer Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmed Bhat of Pattan left hand injury, Faizan Mushtaq, 20, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi of Pampore, Zahid, 19, son of Gulzar Ahmad Wani of Checkpora Kalan  Nowgam, Gulam Muhammad Sofi, 55, son of Gulam Ahmad of Chattabal and Sumaiya Jan, 45, wife of Zubair Ahmed Lone of Naidkhai Sumbal.

Soon after the attack, Police have cordoned off the area and launched massive search to nab the terrorists.
