Srinagar, May 29: The movie “Welcome to Kashmir” has earned a huge success among the local audience at the Inox Multiplex Cinema in Srinagar.
Directed by Tariq Bhat, the film has received a very positive response and has captivated viewers by shedding light on the challenges faced by the people of Kashmir, especially the youth.
The theater was completely full as the local audience embraced the film with great enthusiasm and support.
“Welcome to Kashmir,” a Hindi movie, features a talented cast from Kashmir, including Mateena Rajpoot, Ahmad Shahab, Hussein Khan, Simran Ahuja, and Ishfaq Kawa.
Viewers appreciated the film for its authentic portrayal of Kashmir and its people. They believe that the movie truly represents them and are amazed to see the talent of the local actors showcased on such a platform.
By addressing important social issues often overlooked in mainstream narratives, “Welcome to Kashmir” has deeply resonated with the audience and sparked significant conversations.
The performances by Ahmad Shahab and Mateena Rajput, both from Kashmir, were outstanding and displayed their remarkable talent. Director Tariq Bhat and associate writer Ashpak Mujawar crafted a script that authentically represents the diverse stories from the region.
The soulful music composed by Ishfaq Kawa, a gifted singer and composer from Baramulla, added a mesmerizing layer to the story, enhancing the audience’s emotional connection to the film.
Umar Adil, responsible for the casting, skillfully brought together a talented ensemble that captivated the viewers with their performances.
Vikas Dhar, the owner of the multiplex, mentioned that the movie has received a positive response and the theater has been consistently full since its release. He hopes that this overwhelming response will continue.
Dhar further mentioned that this movie has opened up opportunities for talented individuals. It sends a message to Bollywood and South Indian filmmakers that they don’t necessarily have to bring their entire team to Kashmir for shooting, as there are talented people locally who can be a part of their production.
He also highlighted that the director of this movie has become an inspiration for aspiring filmmakers in Kashmir. Until now, many young people believed that making a film in Kashmir was impossible, but this director has proven them wrong, Dhar added.
