Valour & sacrifice of martyred BSF jawan will never be forgotten: LG

JAMMU, Nov 09: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid tribute to the brave Border Security Force (BSF) head constable, Lal Fam Kima, who was killed in unprovoked firing by Pakistan Rangers along the International Border (IB) in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district, Jammu. The 50-year-old head constable, hailing from Aizwal (Mizoram), succumbed to injuries sustained during the firing on the night of November 8 and 9.
LG Manoj Sinha, accompanied by Special Director General of BSF, P V Ramasastry, honored Lal Fam Kima's sacrifice at the frontier headquarters of BSF, Paloura camp, in Jammu. The LG expressed profound respect, stating, "The valor and supreme sacrifice of Lal Fam Kima, martyred while protecting our nation along the International Border, will forever be etched in our memory."
Special DG BSF, P V Ramasastry, also paid homage to the fallen BSF jawan during the wreath-laying ceremony. 
The wreath-laying ceremony featured full military honours, including the traditional bugle sounding and a final salute, with fellow jawans chanting slogans to honour Lal Fam Kima's valor. “The mortal remains of the martyred BSF jawan will be transported to his hometown, Aizwal, for the final rites, accompanied by full military honours,” informed BSF PRO.
