Travel trade mourn demise of Hamid Wangnoo

The travel trade termed Wangnoo as one of the pillars of the tourism trade who has been promoting Kashmir tourism very vigorously.

Srinagar, March 26: Travel trade and hospitality sector has expressed deep shock over the  demise of the Haji Abdul Hamid Wagnoo Chairman Houseboat Owners Association who passed away today. 

Travel Agents Society of Kashmir, Travel Agents Association of Kashmir, J&K Hoteliers Club in a condolence message expressed grief over his demise.

The travel trade termed Wangnoo as one of the pillars of the tourism trade who has been promoting Kashmir tourism very vigorously.

They expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family on the sad  demise of  Haji Abdul Hamid  Wagnoo Sahab. He was a noble soul. May Almighty  grant  Jannat ul Firdous to the  departed soul and power of tolerance to the entire family for this irreparable loss,” TASK President said in a condolence message. 

TAAK President Farooq A Kuthoo said Haji Abdul Hamid Wagnoo had been at the forefront in advocating the cause of the tourism sector in general and houseboat owners in particular. His loss is a big loss to the tourism sector, he said.

He prayed for the departed soul and extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

Chairman of the JK Hoteliers Club Mushtaq A Chaya also conveyed his condolences to the family on the sad demise of Haji Abdul Hamid Wagnoo. 

Secretary General JKHC Tariq Rashid Ghani said Wagnoo was an asset for the tourism industry, a great human being and noble soul.
