Srinagar, Jan 7: Kashmir Tourism Trade Bodies Joint Forum Thursday expressed shock over the demise of KCCI Vice President Dr Abdul Majid Mir in a tragic road accident in New Delhi.

In a condolence message, the spokesperson of the Joint Forum described Mir’s demise as a huge loss to the bereaved family, friends and associates. Expressing his sympathy to the bereaved family, the spokesperson described the passing away of Dr Mir as a great loss to the KCC&I in particular and to Kashmir Inc in general.

The Joint Forum said, “Besides being a veteran business leader, he was soft spoken, noble personality and a thorough gentleman. He had not only carved a niche in business establishment but was equally known for his humility among his friends and associates”.

The 9 heads of the Join Forum (TASK, JKTA, PILTOF, TTIG, AKTO, DTOAK, TAAI, IATO & ADTOI) prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCC&I) and especially with Dr. Mir’s son Adil Mir.
