Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy.
1.EAT HEALTHY FOODS.
Eating healthy foods is very important for pregnant women as the growing baby needs nutrients to grow healthy & strong in the womb.Eat plenty of colourful fruits & vegetables (RAINBOW DIET),whole Grains, Calcium-rich foods & foods low in saturated fat,Foods Rich in Iron,Proteins.
B.TAKE A DAILY PRENATAL VITAMIN.
Taking a daily prenatal vitamin can help ensure to get the right amount of the key nutrients which the baby needs during pregnancy & include Folic acid, iron & Calcium.
Foods Rich in vitamins C.
C.STAY WELL HYDRATED.
When pregnant, the body needs more water than before.Ensure to drink more water.
D.AVOID ALCOHOL.
Do not drink alcohol before & during pregnancy & while breastfeeding.Drinking alcohol increases the risk of having a baby with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
E. AVOID SMOKING.
Smoking is unhealthy for the mother & for unborn child.
Smoking increases the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), premature birth, miscarriage & other poor outcomes.
F.EXERCISE MORE.
Daily exercise or staying active in other ways can help to stay healthy during pregnancy.
