Srinagar, March 28: SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure on Tuesday visited Blind School Sangri Baramulla and interacted with students. He distributed stationery items, laptop and induction heaters among the students.
ASP Baramulla RK Parihar, DySP DAR Baramulla and SHO PS Baramulla were also present on the occasion.
SSP Baramulla while interacting with the students, stressed upon them to take their studies seriously for better and successful future. He urged that everyone should take part in sports activities as it helps to boost self-confidence, concentration, physical as well as mental health.
He said students should make optimum use of time and channelize their energy in the right direction. He asked the students not to allow their physical hindrances and infirmities to come in their ways and to stay active in their lives in pursuit goals.
Later, SSP Baramulla distributed school bags, stationery items, induction heaters and laptop among the students under the aegis of Civic Action Programme.
“General Secretary of Blind School and students showed extraordinary enthusiasm and applauded the role of police for boosting their morale,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.
