SIU, Ramban Police raids 7 locations in Banihal

Srinagar, May 12:  The Special Investigation Unit along with district police Ramban on Friday raided seven houses belonging to OGWs, terror sympathizers, and relatives of Pakistan settled terrorists in various areas of Banihal, officals said.
A police spokesman told Rising Kashmir that  SIU and Ramban Police carried out raids at multiple locations in the areas of Banihal and Ramsoo falling under the jurisdiction of subdivision Banihal. 
"These raids were conducted to tighten the noose around those inimical elements who always try to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
The spokesman said in a run up to upcoming G20 meeting at Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Police is leaving no stone unturned to defeat all the nefarious designs of anti national elements and make this event a grand success, he said.
"Ramban police has raised it’s ante against these terrorist sympathisers and the enemies of peace. Seven different houses belonging to OGWs, relatives of Pak settled militants and militant sympathisers were raided today," he said.
The spokesman said  lot of digital incriminating material was recovered form these places and further investigation is underway in the case.
