Jammu and Kashmir Police along with Army on Saturday recovered arms and ammunition at Hathlanfa Uri area of Baramulla district, Officials informed.
A police spokesman said, Joint parties of Police and Army recovered arms/ ammunition at Hathlanga Uri
The spokesman said, “Based on a specific intelligence input by agencies regarding presence of cache of arms/ ammuniton in area of Hathlanga Uri; joint parties of Baramulla Police and Army 3 Rajput today launched search operation in wee hours near Hathlanga area of Uri sector including Hathlanga nallah which led to the recovery of following arms/ ammunition: AK-47 Rifle- 01 No., AK Magazine- 01 No’s and AK 47 Ammunition – 28 rounds.”
“Case under Indian Arms Act registered in Police Station Uri and investigation set in motion,” he said.
