Redmi Watch 2 was launched with the Redmi Note 11 series. The new smartwatch is the successor to the original Redmi watch. The watch comes with recent upgrades. It now has a larger AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) display instead of TFT (Thin Film Transistor) screen. Watch 2 boasts a 1.6” screen and its resolution is 320 x 360 pixels.

 It has small bezels which offer a better viewing experience. For tracking heart rate, checking blood oxygen saturation and sleep analysis, it comes with new sensors.

 The watch has included support for 117 fitness models, including 17 professional workout styles. It also boasts a low-power chipset paired with a revolutionary battery management algorithm that allows it to last up to 12 days on a single charge. The smartwatch also comes with a new magnetic charger and is waterproof to 5ATM (50 m) which makes it suitable for swimming. The Redmi Watch 2 supports four global positioning systems - GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou for outdoor activities. Another connectivity feature is NFC. Despite having a larger display and improved battery, the watch is lighter in weight. 

The Redmi Watch 2 is on pre-order now and will start shipping on November 11. Its regular price is Rs. 4,700 but buyers can find the watch online at discounted rates.
