Srinagar, June 10: The School Education Department (SED) Friday said that the transfers and posting of masters and teachers is being done by National Informatics Centre (NIC) on the basis of inputs from Centralized Personnel Information System (CPIS).
Principal Secretary, SED, B K Singh said that an impression has been created that all decisions regarding transfer and posting of masters and teachers are being taken by the School Education Department.
Singh clarified, “Reality is that the processing of all online applications is done by an automated process through National Informatics Centre (NIC) and it is being done on the basis of inputs from CPIS, Director School Education of Jammu and Kashmir and Chief Education Officers.”
He said that no additional input was being utilized by the School Education Department.
“On the basis of these inputs and processing, these outputs and outcomes are being sent to Directors of School Education Jammu and Kashmir and CEOs for verification and issuance of transfer orders at their end,” reads the notice.
Singh said that three stage “Annual Transfer Drive” (ATD) 2022 is being followed by Director School Education Jammu and Kashmir and CEOs in case of masters and teachers respectively.
“Masters and teachers are requested to approach Director School Education Jammu and Kashmir for their issues regarding posting and transfers,” reads the notice.
