Private school without registration seized in Budgam

CEO to decide future course of action, says ZEO

Budgam, Apr 15: Zonal Educational Officer (ZEO) Beerwah on Saturday seized the Al-Asar Public School in Chewdara village in this central Kashmir's Budgam district. 
The ZEO Ghulam Mustafa Dar told Rising Kashmir that a private school Al-Asar Public School, which is functional in the Chewdara village in the Beerwah Tehsil, was earlier affiliated with one of the private schools from the Narbal Educational Zone in Budgam.
“At present, the registration documents for this school have not been completed yet as per the government rules. The school has also applied for registration in the School Education Department which is still in process,” he said.
The ZEO said that being a nodal officer of the Zonal Educational Office Beerwah, he has seized the school. “I have also checked the registration documents of the school which are in process,” he said. 
The matter will also be brought before the higher officials of the Chief Educational Officer Budgam, whose decision will determine the further course of education regarding the school, the ZEO said.
