Srinagar, Apr 18: Inconvenience looms for residents of several areas in Srinagar as the Power Controller Kashmir has announced that the power supply to multiple receiving stations will remain shut down for several hours on April 19.
According to the announcement, the power supply to Receiving Stations Brein, Nishat, Shalimar, and Harwan shall remain affected due to repair works and remodelling in HT/LT lines. The shutdown will take place from 11 am to 5 pm, causing inconvenience to residents during the day.
Similarly, the power supply to receiving stations Aathama, Pinjura, and Chowdhary Ghund shall also remain affected on April 19. This is due to the augmentation works in 33/11 KV Pinjura receiving station. The power supply to these stations will remain shut down from 10 am to 3 pm, affecting residents in the area during the day.
