Noted social activist from G’bl honoured by Book of World Records London

Ganderbal, Nov 3: A noted social activist & campaigner from central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, has been conferred with an appreciation certificate from the Book of World Records London, UK. Bilal Bhat was honoured by Santosh Shukla (Barrister President & CEO).
Hailing from Tulmullah village of Ganderbal, Bhat is working at the grassroots level for the safety, sustainability, security, and well-being of women and girls. He has also been at the forefront of youth development and campaigner for the elimination of drug addiction and violence against women and girls.
Bilal, who is working as campaigner cum project coordinator at the Women's Helpline Project sponsored by the Ministry of Women and Child Development Government of India, was also awarded on 8th March 2022 this year on International Women's Day as Best Campaigner at Women's Helpline. 
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, Bilal Bhat thanked Almighty Allah for “bestowing me all the success”. “I consider myself extremely lucky to have been honoured by the Book of World Records. I have always stood for the development, peace, prosperity, and wellbeing of youth,” he said.
Bhat said he is voluntarily assisting all government departments in terms of awareness, counseling, guidance, and support. He is associated with a number of organizations that help the downtrodden communities in Jammu & Kashmir.
Bilal said his mission is “Let’s stand today for a better tomorrow”. He is campaigning on several centrally-sponsored schemes like OSC, MSK, Mission Shakti, PMMKVY, MUMKIN, TALAASH, BBBP, WHL_181, etc.
More than 5 lakh people, especially women, in J&K are with his campaign theme ‘Break Your Silence Raise Your Voice’, the activist said.
