Not Roshni beneficiaries, land allotted on lease : KCCI

Srinagar, Nov 26: A spokesperson of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that the land allotted to them is not under Roshni Act but was provided under the lease agreement.
"We have been allotted land on lease vide Government order No.REV(NDK)203 of 2000 Dated: 24-11-2000 and subsequently we are paying rent under the allotment.," KCCI spokesperson said.
"The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry being registered under Companies Act and could have never got the settlement done under Roshni Act. Now today some daily newspapers have carried the news of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry is one of the beneficiaries under Roshni Act which is completely false," the spokesperson said.
